Bodies is an exploration on the significance of the human form in the expression of creative language. The nude as a form of visual art focusing on the unclothed human figure has been a prevalent theme in Western art since classical antiquity.
However through the times, art has tremendously evolved beyond the simplicity of categorizations. Many artists have now been combining the figurative nude with variations of many juxtaposed elements. Perhaps at this point we have already eliminated the limitations of basic stereotypes, but it has also pulled us back into a more simpler form of truth; maybe the nude form is prevalent because it's something that we can all collectively relate to. It is an image that we all possess and see everyday, in the mirror alone or in the presence of others. It's an image that we can effortlessly conjure in the realms of our own imagination.
