In Space_in_Between, Steven Natal assembles an ecosystem of different images and connects them together to form a unique visual narrative. “Gay-on Nga!” probes the concept of agreeing to move forward and break away from oppressive traditions. Each artist’s fundamental outlook may differ from one another, but their end points somehow gravitate toward the same profound conclusion: choosing to move forward. Some of them navigate this concept through the intricate pathways of inner growth, as their works advocate the cultivation of one’s own mental durability by overcoming negative thoughts and embracing the individuality of the self.
